We had another play date on Monday. This time our friends Jamie, Kennedy and Kristopher joined the usual crowd (of Cara, Grace, Nicole and Tano), since Jamie is off this week for spring break. We had a great time, and the kids loved playing together.
When lunchtime rolled around, Jamie brought out the picnic table for the kids. They all couldn't wait to sit at the table. That is, everyone but my boy ...
I think he misses sitting in a high chair, so any chance he gets, he takes it. The one good thing that came out of it was that he ate two bowls of mac and cheese!

ps if the sneaks dont fit or you dont like take and exchange left everything on them
we have our days when we want to "regress" a little bit, too. usually shae sits in a regular chair and uses regular dishes and silverware, but sometimes she wants a sippy cup and a thomas the tank engine toddler fork. i try not to argue, because those tend to be the days when she gives us the least trouble at dinnertime.
and i have to admit: now that she's almost as tall as i am, i really miss the days when i could throw her in a stroller and take a walk, or just sit on the couch and snuggle her in my arms like i used to when she was "baby shaezie." growing up is hard her them, too. :-)
I think it's probably easier to throw the mac from the higher vantage point of the high chair. Clearly, I am going to each Emmaline some very bad habits.
