Winterizing My Garden
I've been working in my gardens over the past few weeks, winterizing them, as I call it. Pulling weeds that should have been pulled months ago, trimming off flowers and buds that are long past their prime. In the process, I have discovered that I have a few new flowers still growing. As I get ready to put on my jacket (and soon my hat and gloves), it's nice to be reminded of the wonderful summer we had.

Head Bands
I'm not sure what prompted the interest, but last night, after brushing our teeth, Joey found one of my head bands and wanted to wear it. Daddy was all verklempt, and we tried a sweat band, but this is what the boy wanted to wear.
I dare you to tell me he isn't adorable. Actually, I think HE'S daring you in this picture.
And we're starting to potty train. Nothing too extensive, just encouraging the use of the potty. This is his pee-pee dance. Even when he doesn't have to go.

We're Huntin' Wabbits
Joey loves to look for bunnies when we go out on our walks. Yesterday, we found one! This little guy actually was there as we turned out of our street, and about 15 minutes later when we got back. Joey was so excited. I wasn't sure if he could actually see him, but after a couple minutes, I knew he could. Can you find the little bunny? (And yes, Joey is pointing in its general direction.)
