Although by the time Daddy actually got to cut the grass (on Monday night), the temperature dipped considerably. That didn't stop Joey from watching from the porch until it was his turn for another tractor ride.
PS - Yes, that's the Nana Haldaman hat she made for me a few moons ago. I'll have to convince her to make one for him, too.

Keep Smiling
My cutie patootie ...
Guess it's time for a haircut, but it's finally long enough to show the curls!

Somebody Loves Cars
With the crazy weather around here, we finally got Joey some summer pajamas. Seriously, we were on our way home from the store and he was trying to put them on (while still in the carseat). We let him wear the shirt all day, and of course he wore them to bed. This is what he looked like right before bed ... a veritable commercial for Disney.
For those not sure, those are Cars pajamas, Cars sunglasses, numerous Cars "action figures," and yes, we were watching Cars 2 on the television. At least we finally got him to sit through Toy Story. We needed some kind of change of pace once in a while.

Nana's Boy
Joey got to spend a lot of time with his Shae and his Nana. And he spent a lot of time not listening and just running after Nana, whether she was waiting for him or not.
Getting a lift to see some of the animals.
Checking out the coins in the wishing pond.
Enjoying the fishies. (I especially like the reflection I was able to capture in this one, and the way the sun hits his hair.)

Pittsburgh Safari
We headed to Pittsburgh for a mini-family reunion this weekend. With the unseasonably warm weather, we (and a gazillion other people) headed to the zoo.
Since they didn't have a stroller for Makayla, Shelley and Joe ended up renting one - and everyone got in on the action!
The fish spent as much time checking us out as we spent admiring them.
Nana loved having all her kids there. The kids, they didn't love all the picture-taking so much.

Spring Is in the Air
It was gorgeous this weekend, and I had no problem getting Joey outside. It was fabulous.
And don't you love the new boots? His snow boots (which he practically lived in the last month or so) had actual holes in the bottom and were definitely too small, but the only way I could get him to part with them was to promise him new "monkey" boots. Even then he wouldn't throw them out until I actually purchased the new boots. Now we can't get him to take these off. Hopefully they last until the stores are carrying winter boots again.
