Joey's learning to associate the word kick with the action. (I was going to say I'm training him, but that makes it sound like he's dog learning new tricks.) It's not perfect, but he does get excited when I get excited when he kicks when I say kick. And I'm hoping positive reinforcement works.

positive reinforcement DOES work, and in a few months you can supplement with tic-tacs.
