I might actually cheat and rewrap some of the toys he already has. I mean, how much does one kid need? And he'll have so much fun ripping open the wrapping paper, he won't even notice.

universal constancy of children: opening the presents is more fun than actually playing with them. i mean, really, christmas is one of the few times when you're ALLOWED to make a mess.
