Des Plaines Fall Fest
We headed over to the Des Plaines Fall Fest Saturday afternoon, to see what it was all about. We got some pretty good food, and of course some fried dough. Joey even tried one of the rides.
As you can see, he looked happy to be getting on the cars, but not too many smiles once it was going. It did seem to go a bit fast, but he never really got into it. He even said he wanted to go back on, but then I couldn't get him to stay in the seat for longer than two seconds. We'll just have to try again next year. Maybe if he's with one of his cousins, he'll like it better (hint, hint).

those last two pictures are FANTASTIC. excellent work, padawan. (and every time i see pictures of the kids on rides it makes me sad that bushkill park isn't open any more. i loved that place, and the kids would have loved it, too.)
