We've progressed to sitting on the porch when Daddy's using the tractor. (Although he loved it last year, Joey is terrified this year.) I even managed a smile out of the little bugger.

Shae had that phase too -- and right around this age, I think. She was suddenly one day petrified of airplanes. It was ... weird. She outgrew it pretty quickly. I think it was the noise, too much for her to process or something.
