On Sunday we headed down to the South Loop to visit the other Burgers and catch some of the Chicago Air and Water Show.
We weren't crazy enough to go to Oak Street or North Avenue Beaches, though. We found a nice spot on the Museum Campus and watched some airplanes.
The Thunderbirds were awesome. And apparently my camera takes some pretty cool pictures of fighter jets. (They weren't all cool, but these are some of the best ones.)
All in all, it was a great day. (Yeah, Joey was getting a little crabby after a couple hours of just sitting and watching the planes and his cousin Wolfie. But we all survived. And we both napped on the way home.)

looks like fun! i wonder if there are any of those around here ... nothing as exciting as seeing planes reflected in a giant body of water, though.
