Hanging by the Steps

As I may have just mentioned in my previous post, when we were home this weekend, we did a little swimming. I tried to get the kids to pose for at least one pic, but alas, they are kids and didn't cooperate.

At least somebody wanted their special reward.

Even kisses couldn't coax them into submission.

You can always resort to some crazy dancing to get some giggles. And sometimes the un-posed pictures turn out the best.

Family and Photos

For me, this is what this past weekend was about. Spending time with the family by the pool.

And taking lots of pictures so we can remember it.

Betsy Beaver

I was going through some old pictures, and I found this goodie. My cousins Aaron, Chris and I ran for President of the Forest in first or second grade. I won. But for those keeping track, we were Betsy Beaver, Fitzgerald Fox and Bartholomew Bear. Not sure who was the Fox and who was the Bear, but we all had fun.

On Your Shoulders

The first time I tried to put Joey on my shoulders, he absolutely hated it. Granted, that was probably over a year ago, and he was probably scared, but it was still something I remember him hating. Now, whenever he gets tired when we're out on a walk and he asks us to carry him, he always says, "on your shoulders."

Even Daddy gets in on the action. And Joey absolutely loves it.

Phoning It In

I'm too tired to write. Enjoy some pictures of Joey and his Pop-pop.

Green Goggles

Pop-pop brought Joey a few gifts in his carry-on. While we haven't gotten a chance to try these out in the pool yet, Joey couldn't wait to put them on!
