Morning Fun Time

If Jacob and Joey wake up at the same time, Joey can't wait to get Jacob into the bed with him. He'll read to him, show him his stuffed animals, and loves to give him hugs. This is the best I could get; at least they're both smiling.



9 Month Un-birthday

I know I'm a couple days late, but happy 9-months to my Jacob! He's getting so big so fast, and just becoming more a toddler every day. He can clap now, and feed himself Cheerios. He's even had some real carrots and potatoes! He still isn't a huge fan of just standing up, but boy does he love to jump!

Here he is with Joey's sock monkey. He now towers over him. At his check-up this week, he's 20 lbs 14 oz, and over 29 inches tall. Not sure where he gets the height from, but hopefully he keeps it.

And of course, Joey needed to get in on the picture action. If I want to take a picture of them, forget it. But if I only want a picture of Jacob, he's right in there, saying me, too! Love my boys.

The Great Outdoors

We went outside to play in the snow this weekend. Mommy did her best to build a snowman.

I only had to rebuild it twice before I got this shot.

You can see Joey's already itching to knock it over.

He had fun pushing his dump truck on top of the snow. Yes, on top. There was a nice layer of snow-ice that was just strong enough to support Joey and Ginny. If I were to walk on it, I'd fall right through.

Jacob didn't like lying on the snow so much. (Sitting he was fine.) But I love the coloring in this picture. Hope you're enjoying the great outdoors as much as we are!

Saturday Mornings

This is what I get to wake up to on Saturday mornings. Fabulous!

Bath Time

Jacob absolutely loves bath time. Even if he's getting fussy, once you start running the water, he's all smiles.

Joey was much more of a kicker in the bath tub. Jacob loves to splash with his hands.

Definitely trying to figure out when I'm going to start taking him to the pool. He enjoys the water so much!

Winter Wonderland

A few images from the last couple snowfalls. Jacob's are from this weekend, Joey's from the weekend before. For reference, Joey LOVED the snowboard! Best ten dollars I spent on him in a while.

Feeding Himself

In case you missed it on my Twitter or Facebook feed ... Jacob is now feeding himself. Not all the time, and not necessarily the whole bottle (although he did finish this one!). My little man is growing so fast.

I know my job is done well when I've become obsolete, but I don't remember it happening this quickly!
